A new film being prepared:
Davo Karnicar's ski arcs in the High Tatras
The high calibre Slovenian extreme
skier and climber Davo Karnicar has slid down the highest summits of all
continents and is the one of a few to have descended the slopes of Mt. Everest.
He has hiked the mountain ranges all over the world and has slid down the
number of extreme ski trails.
What Davo has not experienced yet is skiing in the rocky High Tatras. The film will present his mastery of skiing and will give his account of the impression the High Tatras have left this mountaineer with. The film will contain the shots showing Davo Karnicar’s descents of different extreme Tatra glens and walls during his stay in the High Tatras.
Film ending will present the summary of Davo Karnicar’s career and the account of his experiences in the High Tatras. During his stay in the High Tatras the talk about alpine skiing and extreme skiing as seen by Davo Karničar will take place.
The film will be released on DVD (Blu-ray disc) and will contain a full coloured booklet with maps and photos.

Vo filme budú ukážky a zostrihy zo zlyžovania rôznych extrémnych tatranských žlabov a stien, ktoré Davo Karničár na návšteve Tatier zlyžoval. V závere filmu bude krátke zhrnutie jeho doterajšej kariéry s komentárom o zážitkoch z Tatier.
